Emirates announces special Ramadan fares Emirates is offering UAE residents in Dubai the opportunity to fly for less when visiting relatives and friends during the holy month of Ramadan; with fares starting from as little as AED 955 for a return economy class ticket inclusive of taxes.

The discounted fares, which are valid for booking and outbound travel on or before 15th September 2009, are intended to help residents based in the UAE visit loved ones who live internationally.

Khalid Bel Jalfah, Emirates’ Vice President, Commercial Operations UAE, said: “Emirates has always proactively sought to provide our UAE based customers with competitive fares across our wide network of destinations and our Ramadan offer is a reflection of this commitment. The holy month of Ramadan is a time to spend with loved ones and our offer gives people the opportunity to visit relatives overseas without breaking the bank.”

The UAE is home to a large proportion of expatriate residents and for many, travelling home can be an expensive exercise. Emirates' Ramadan offer helps people in the UAE get home during Ramadan at a reduced cost.

A total of 17 different destinations are included in the special Ramadan offer including; Bahrain, Karachi, Amman, Cairo, Mumbai, Damascus, Delhi, Istanbul, Beirut, Kuala Lumpur, Larnaca, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat, Athens, Casablanca and Islamabad.
