While in nearby Valkenberg visit the town’s caves or the Fluweelengrot (Velvet caves) as they are known. Every year the caves host a spectacular and unforgettable Christmas market. The theme of this year’s event will be “Christmas Elves” and you can also meet Santa and amaze at the splendid illuminations with festive scenes and the impressive mural carvings and sculptures.
