Have a very merry Christmas in the Maldives
Put The Beach House at Manafaru, Maldives at the top of your wish list this Christmas! Sleek, contemporary and sexy, this stunning resort offers unparalleled luxury that will dazzle this festive season. This will be the very first Christmas for the youthful Beach House, so big celebrations are planned to make it a truly memorable experience for guests. The resort will be graced by a beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby; the lighting of which will mark the beginning of the festive season. Island Carollers will be present, and for the children who choose to visit the wishing counter, Santa will be making a very special appearance and just might make those wishes come true!
Whilst the island is laden with opportunities for fun in the sun such as snorkelling, Maldivian fishing trips, watersports and a beach to rival any other, the much-loved traditions of Christmas will not be ignored. On Christmas Eve, head to the Ginger Bread House for festive carol-singing and cocktails, and get into the Christmas spirit with The Beach House choir! At the Four Corners Restaurant, a sumptuous feast will await, with a full buffet promising every gourmet delight imaginable.
The freshest of seafood features alongside traditional Christmas roast with all the trimmings and a barbeque grill. And of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without the most decadent, mouth-watering desserts ever tasted! If this isn’t enough for the evening, there will be a Christmas party at the Saltwater Bar, with a special live dance mix of classics, jazz, blues, rock, reggae and samba to get those toes tapping.
A note to all parents - kids will not be let down on Christmas Day! Santa will reappear at the Saffron Jetty in the morning with special gifts for the boys and girls, whilst you can sit by and enjoy your own Christmas treat – a chilled glass of mulled wine. There will be a Christmas Champagne Jazz Brunch, with a family cocktail party held at the Turtle Club in the afternoon and plenty of time can be spent with your loved ones – whether in your own private villa with a butler to hand, or even joining in some of the many activities available throughout the resort.
For those staying to see in the New Year, there will be a decadent New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and Countdown Party. The Saltwater Bar will be transformed into a magical, sparkling party setting and as the evening progresses; native and modern elements will combine to usher in the New Year. But not forgetting the beautifully romantic nature of the Maldives, for those wanting to enjoy a romantic New Year’s Eve in a quiet, chic atmosphere, Saffron or Medium Rare will still be serving dinner – a set menu is available in addition to the a la carte menu.
Why settle for white snow when you can have white sand?
