Dreading the mountains of vegetables to be peeled this December? Worried your Christmas shopping list could break the bank? Leave room for homemade Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and nibble on a mince pie over coffee.

For just £45 per person including a glass of champagne, there’s no better way to treat the family to a well-deserved break from the kitchen this Christmas Day. Swap the peelers for party hats and colanders for crackers, for the easiest, tastiest and best value Christmas lunch on record.

If the brandy sauce proves too soporific, wander upstairs to one of the hotel’s luxurious and inviting guest rooms to sleep off the feast. If you can’t get away on Christmas Day itself, fear not; JB’s welcomes groups of friends, family and colleagues any evening from 1 to 24 December 2008 to toast the season with a special Christmas meal. For £40 per person, including a glass of champagne, enjoy a four course meal of roasted parsnip soup, traditional roasted turkey with thyme chateaux potatoes, glazed carrots, chestnut stuffing and cranberry sauce, lemon tart with raspberry cream and a fruit coulis, finished off with coffee and mince pies.
