Festive fair lights up Ljubljana this December

Visitors to Slovenia’s compact, picturesque capital, Ljubljana, will be able to enjoy the sights, sounds and seasonal aromas of its festive Christmas market between 3 December and 2 January 2009. Located in the old city centre, around fifty market stalls line the embankment and snake through the cobbled streets and across the main Prešernovtrg square, each one decked with ribbons, mistletoe and thousands of festive lights, illuminating the capital’s already atmospheric historic quarter.
