Get merry in Bratislava this Christmas

31st October 2008 Print
Bratislava’s Christmas markets open for business on November 28th when the city’s Christmas tree lights are switched on and hundreds of stall holders set up in the main square Hlavne Namestie and Hviezdoslavovo Square in the Old Town, right up until Christmas Eve. The accent is on traditional Slovak food, drinks, crafts and gifts, with stalls open from 10am to 10pm, to maximise shopping time.

Departing on 28th November Europe Travel Service has a two night b&b stay in the Slovak capital of Bratislava, where the atmospheric Christmas market sprawls through the cobbled streets of the old town right up until Christmas. The price of £285 per person includes return flights from Luton and b&b accommodation in the 3* Hotel Tatra in the heart of Bratislava Old Town, with transfers.
