Dreaming of a white Christmas? Think Scotland VisitScotland’s newly launched Winter White campaign will help even the most frugal of gift-givers win brownie points and beat the credit crunch this year. The new website, visitscotland.com/white gives access to accommodation offers including three nights for £99 at 3, 4 and 5 star establishments across the country until 20 March 2009. Wistful visitors to the site can even drop a hint by creating their own White Wish List.

Showcasing Scotland’s Winter White Nights, Bites, Delights and Sights, the campaign also includes 2 for 1 offers from wildlife watching to white water rafting on over 50 activities across Scotland with the new VisitScotland Adventure Pass
(running until end of May 2009).

Now there’s no excuse for January blues!

There are over 50 places to stay where visitors can enjoy 3 White Nights for only £99 per person including:

• The chic Abode Hotel in the centre of Glasgow with the acclaimed restaurant by Michael Caine
• The Plockton Inn and Seafood Restaurant in the picturesque seaside town of Plockton
