Pollok House The National Trust for Scotland has prepared a series of events for the festive season. You can enjoy a variety of Christmas-related activities all around Scotland.

Keeping Christmas

The house will be decorated from top to toe to celebrate Christmas. Each room will have a different theme – from an Edwardian dinner and games through the ages to the Teddy Bears Christmas Circus and snowmen having a snowball fight! The Gift Shop, Food Shop and Christmas Bazaar in the Servants’ Hall will be open every day too and there’ll be a mouth-watering menu in our award-winning Edwardian Kitchen Restaurant.

Christmas Floral Extravaganza

During the floral extravaganza enjoy Threave Baronial Mansion decorated for Christmas with Christmas trees, swags, and floral decorations in every room. Then enjoy a home made mince pie and a glass of mulled wine served in the old kitchens.

Victorian Family Christmas

See the castle decorated and meet characters from the past - a real traditional celebration of Christmas.
Shops and Restaurant open at Visitor Centre from 11am - 5pm

Join us for "Enchanted Woods" - a magical light show in the woods at Kellie - followed by our "Christmas Extravaganza Show" - a musical costumed show with a lovely Christmas feel. Meet characters inspired by Edward Lear and characters brought to life from Christmas Tree decorations!

Hot Drinks, sweet and savoury snacks available from the Castle tearoom from 6.30pm until 8.00pm
