Experience the world famous Tivoli Gardens and fantastic Christmas markets in Copenhagen on a four or five night short break this festive season with DFDS Seaways.

Christmas officially begins in Tivoli Gardens on the 16th November and over the years it has become a firm family tradition in the heart of Copenhagen, offering masses of Christmas trees, presents, elves, stalls and magic

The gardens are transformed by a huge Christmas Tree and miles of fairy lights. The enchanting Tivoli Lights, invented by Tiffany’s head designer John Loring are a story in their own right – one thousand eight hundred light chains are needed for the willows around The Tivoli Lake. Another 5000metres are needed for all the Christmas trees and 1000metres for the buildings!

The rides will include the Swing Carousel, Music Carousel and the Chinese Lantern. Shopping in Tivoli is amazing with over 70 store holders with decorations, presents, delicacies, food and drink.

From 16th November the Tivoli Concert Hall will show Oliver! by Lionel Bart.

And with two or three nights in the city for shopping and sightseeing and soaking up the Festive spirit of this beautiful city before another overnight cruise home, these are very relaxing seasonal short breaks with a difference.
