Grab a bargain break before Xmas

Departures on 8 December are the last opportunity to grab some bargain winter sun, leading online travel and leisure retailer lastminute.com is advising travellers.

The peak travelling season starts the following weekend (Saturday 15) with people looking to getaway or return home for Christmas and New Year, leaving the departure date of 8 December the cheapest date to travel during the festive season.

Lastminute.com has some fantastic bargains for that week with prices starting at £149 for a seven-night four-star stay in Malta.
