Winter special to Budapest

7th December 2007 Print
Winter special to Budapest Travellers looking for a unique winter escape should take advantage of a ‘four nights for the price three’ offer to Budapest launched by the Hungarian National Tourist Office this week.

The offer is valid up until 31 March 2008 and is available at 60 hotels in the city as part of the Winter Invasion campaign (budapestwinterinvasion.com) designed to give travellers an extra incentive to visit Budapest this winter.

Flights can be arranged with Malév Airlines (malev.com) from seven UK airports (Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle) with prices from £110 per person flying from London to Budapest.

A range of three, four and five star hotels can be searched and booked online at Budapestwinterinvasion.com. Prices are from £55 (75 Euro) per double room for two people at the centrally located three star Anna Hotel.

A four-night package including return flights from London and accommodation is therefore from as little as £193 per person this winter.

Budapest is a magical place in winter with the festive Christmas markets taking place in Vörösmarty Square up until 29 December, ice skating under the stars beside the fairy tale castle of Vajdahunyad and over 50 spa complexes where you can relax in the warm thermal waters that the city is famous for.
