A taste of culinary excellence for Swiss passengers Swiss First and Swiss Business class travellers on Swiss International Airlines flights will soon enjoy culinary excellence from the cuisine of Restaurant Hôtel du Parc des Eaux-Vives.

From the beginning of September until end of November 2009 the renowned catering program “Swiss Taste of Switzerland” brings guests exquisite dishes from the culinary temple in Geneva, which is managed by Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.

The Restaurant Hôtel du Parc des Eaux-Vives was awarded 2 Michelin star for the fifth year in a row as well as 17 GaultMillau points. By using seasonal products only, the restaurant meets today’s clientele needs for authenticity and going back to “produits du terroir”.

The new cooperation was announced in an event last week at the restaurant. For the first time, a selected property for the “Swiss Taste of Switzerland” program had the pleasure to welcome the entire teams of Swiss International Airlines and Gate Gourmet on site as well as representatives of Geneva Tourism and journalists.

The Restaurant Hôtel du Parc des Eaux-Vives enjoys a fabulous location in an 18th century building, nestled in a historical park with views across Lake Geneva. In addition to the 2 Michelin star gourmet restaurant, the establishment also includes a brasserie, a bar as well as four rooms for private dining. Two suites and five guest rooms complete the package of elegant services and make the establishment the smallest five star hotel in Switzerland. Following a thorough renovation in the year 2003, the Restaurant Hôtel du Parc des Eaux-Vives has been managed by Swissôtel Métropole in Geneva.
