Flybe ‘Rewards4all’ is open to all

1st August 2007 Print
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, today announces its brand new frequent flyer programme, Rewards4all, which sees the airline continuing to pioneer the low cost marketplace with the UK’s first low cost customer loyalty scheme open to all passengers. The new scheme will be live soon.

Following on from other industry firsts delivered by Flybe, the airline now has developed a loyalty scheme that provides all passengers with an automated simple to use and easy to understand programme that puts the customer in charge of their rewards.

For the business traveller the last remaining reason to ditch legacy carriers has gone – Flybe now offer the full range of services for busy business flyers from dedicated check in, free seat assignment, VIP lounge access, ticket flexibility and now a professional most generous rewards programme that they can benefit from every time they travel.

For leisure passengers the scheme will appeal because even flying on a £19.99 ticket customers will start earning points. Unlike other schemes where such programmes are the reserve of more expensive fare levels, Rewards4all is open to every single passenger on Flybe.

Customers will be able to use their points for free flights or 1 years free Executive Lounge access.

Rewards can be earned as follows:

Economy one way = 1 point
Economy return = 2 points
Flybe Economy Plus one way = 2 points
Flybe Economy Plus return = 4 points

How many points are needed to start redeeming:

16 points are required for a free return flight (means only 4 Economy Plus returns or 8 Economy returns)
20 points are required to get 1 years free access to Flybe’s VIP airport executive lounges (means just 5 Economy Plus returns or 10 Economy returns)
Passengers can earn points regardless of how they book – again unlike other low costs Flybe allow bookings to come through travel agents, corporate bookers, call centre and online through flybe.com. Customers just need to set up a customer account on the flybe.com website – once they have earned enough points they can book their flight redemptions online.

Mike Rutter, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer comments: “This latest announcement is part of Flybe constant innovation and commitment to invest in our regular customers. We currently carry the highest percentage of business travellers in the low cost sector, Rewards4all will help develop and maintain those relationships. There is now no reason to fly legacy! The scheme will be a big attraction for those second home owners, city breakers and families with regular trips to visit friends and family, who are at the heart of our customer profile.

“Rewards4all is an industry first and sees Flybe stretching beyond the realms of a traditional low cost carrier, strengthening our customer relationships, and bringing real benefits to our loyal customers across the regions.”
