Flybe increases frequencies from the Isle of Man
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional low-cost airline, is today announcing the introduction of two additional services on its popular Isle of Man routes to both Manchester and Liverpool. The extra flights will raise the frequency to Manchester to five a day and Liverpool to four a day and is a response to unprecedented demand from Manx travellers.Ticket prices will start at a fantastically competitive £18.99 one way including taxes and are now available for booking on flybe.com for travel from April 4th.
This latest news from Flybe confirms the airline’s commitment to its Isle of Man base, providing passengers with increased travel choice on this key commuter route which, benefiting both business and leisure travellers alike at peak travel times.
Says Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer Flybe: “We’ve been bowled over by the success of our Manchester and Liverpool routes and in response to amazing demand, we are able to introduce extra frequency to these key cities. Our market share on the Manchester route is now an impressive 60%, showing that Flybe understands fully the needs of Manx travellers”

“Over the last 18 months,” Mr Rutter adds, “we have been continuing the re-design of our fleet by replacing older aircraft with the state of the art and environmentally sensitive Q400 aircraft. We are proud of our new fleet and are significantly newer than other aircraft operating similar routes from Ronaldsway.”
