Flybe, Europe’s largest regional low cost airline, has announced it is adding a minimum of two extra return flights on its popular Isle of Man to Manchester route. These, added to Flybe’s existing schedule of up to five a day, will give TT fans extra opportunities to attend the famous Isle of Man motorcycle races, being held between 24 May and 07 June.

Flybe will add a fourth Saturday service on both 31 May and 07 June with flights available for booking now on flybe.com from £18.99 one way including taxes and airport charges.

Last Friday, Flybe came quickly to the rescue of stranded Euromanx passengers, flying them free of charge to and from Manchester, Liverpool and London after the Isle of Man-based airline announced it was going into receivership. Flybe’s latest news is further proof of the airline’s commitment to supporting the Island’s crucial tourism economy.

Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer Flybe, says: “Convenient and affordable travel to and from the Isle of Man over the duration of the annual TT races is vital for the economy so we hope this will be a win-win for everyone. The additional services will make the Isle of Man even more accessible for fans looking for affordable travel options over this extremely busy time. Tickets are selling fast, so we’d advise booking now to avoid missing out on the lowest possible fares.”
