Flybe offers 200 free tickets on new Newquay to Gatwick route

11th December 2008 Print
Flybe is offering the first 200 passengers who book on its new non-stop Newquay London Gatwick route announced this morning, a free return voucher to travel on the same route anytime in the summer 2010.

This one time offer indicates Flybe’s long term commitment to Cornwall and the South West and to serving the Newquay London Gatwick route for many decades to come.

Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer notes, “The comments made today by Mike Coombes of Air South West to Flybe’s announcement on the new London Gatwick route are ill advised and we have absolutely no intention of not being around in the years to come.”

“Flybe has served London Gatwick from a number of destinations throughout the UK for over 20 years and fully expect to be around to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Newquay route.”

“To cement this commitment, Flybe will also be personally delivering a voucher for a free flight in 2010 to Mr Coombes to set his mind at ease over his obvious angst as to whether or not he will be able to get to London Gatwick by Air South West in the future, Flybe hope this will put his mind at rest!”

Flights from Newquay to London Gatwick will operate three-times-a-day Monday to Friday; daily on a Saturday and twice daily on Sunday from 15th February 2009.

Flights on sale now with fares from £29.99 one-way, including all taxes and airport charges.
