Loganair launches low fare seat sale

9th September 2009 Print
Flybe franchise carrier Loganair has released 20,000 seats at its lowest fares across the Highlands & Islands route network as part of its commitment to keeping Britain moving during the recession.

Passengers booking with Scotland’s airline for travel between October 25 and December 16 will be able to take advantage of thousands of low fare flights priced from as little as £24.90 one way including taxes and charges.

Bookings must be made before 17 September and the limited offer is open to those booking online at flybe.com or flybe.com/ads for travellers registered with the Air Discount Scheme.

The seat sale is the ideal way to bag a bargain autumn break to the Highlands and Islands or visit popular shopping destinations in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and Dundee in the run up to the festive period.

Jonathan Hinkles, Loganair’s Commercial Director, said: “Loganair recognises that times are tough for travel planning this year with business and leisure travellers alike having to keep a close eye on their budgets.

“Our customers are increasingly seeking the best deals available, so by opening up more seats at our lowest fares and extending this into the autumn and winter we’re aiming to continue the growth in passenger numbers that we recorded during the summer season.

“Now more than ever it’s important for people to be able to take time out to relax and enjoy valuable downtime with their families and friends, which is why this seat sale sees us offering passengers the chance to plan their travel well in advance and take advantage of the very best possible fares.

“However, these seats will be available on a first come basis and I’d encourage people to book early to avoid missing out.”
