bmi regional creates Norwegian connections via Aberdeen ‘hub’

29th June 2007 Print
bmi regional is creating speedy connections this summer for passengers travelling from London Heathrow, Manchester and Norwich to the Norwegian city of Kristiansand.

The airline is rescheduling its services between Aberdeen and the oil and shipping centre of Kristiansand from 30 July making the new connections possible.

Peter Kenworthy, commercial director of bmi regional, said: “With this reschedule we can offer customers a greater choice of connections in Aberdeen, creating what is virtually a mini-hub for flights to Kristiansand from the UK.

“As a centre for the oil and shipping industries we expect our connecting services to Kristiansand to attract a large proportion of business-related traffic, but also to be popular with both the inbound and outbound leisure traveller.”
