bmi Regional is right on time

According to official statistics published by the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), bmi Regional was the most punctual airline operating from UK airports from January to June 2009 – meaning 2009 could be the fifth successive year the airline has achieved pole position.

From almost 600,000 scheduled flights analysed by the CAA of which 10,027 flights were operated by bmi Regional, more than 90 per cent (93.61 per cent) of the airline’s flights took off on time, with the average delay being less than five minutes (4.28 minutes). By comparison, the average for all scheduled flights was 82 per cent on time with an average delay of more than ten minutes (10.73 minutes).
