Blissful “babymooning” at Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel

The concept of “babymooning” is sweeping the US and Chancery Court’s pre-baby getaway marks the arrival of the trend in the UK. This luxurious weekend break begins with complimentary valet parking on arrival at the hotel, before guests are whisked into the holistic Spa at Chancery Court for a Musical Energy Balance treatment together in the VIP Couples Suite.

Indulgence continues in the comfort of the bedroom, where guests will find a Pamper Box containing luxurious ESPA products including: Pink Hair and Scalp Mud, which can be used as a mask for the bust and bump area; Mineral Sea Salts to create a luxurious bath treatment and Nourishing Body Oil, which improves the appearance of stretched or damaged skin. With the box is a copy of the book The Yummy Mummy’s Survival Guide.

Babymooners at Chancery Court are also treated to a selection of delicious foodie treats such as cute miniature baby-themed cupcakes, dummy and nappy cookies, non-alcoholic cocktails, hot chocolate fondue with marshmallow & meringue sticks and camomile tea & honey shortbreads. A Cravings Bag is also provided, containing mini jars of chocolate spread and peanut butter, as well as pickles and a selection of cheeses. Also on the menu are unlimited complimentary movies throughout the couple’s stay.

The Babymoon package also includes breakfast in bed and a late checkout (subject to availability). A postcard is also left in the room and guests who return the card to the hotel when their baby is born will receive a discount on their next treatment together in the spa.

This one night package, which includes accommodation in a deluxe room, costs £445 per room including VAT. The offer is available from 1st February 2007, is subject to availability and is valid for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance of arrival. Extra nights’ accommodation can be reserved at the special rate of £150 per night excluding VAT. Gift vouchers are available for those wishing to purchase a Babymoon package as a present.
