4th June 2007 Print
An open top double-decker with a difference will be pulling into 14 cities in 14 days this month as Best Western roll into town offering free manicures, bed testing, crazy golf and prizes galore.

The bus, which has been given a Best Western makeover, is touring the UK showcasing the facilities at its 290+ three and four-star privately-owned hotels across England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands from 8th June until 21st June.

To help celebrate the hotel group’s revamp everyone is invited to hop on board for some well deserved pampering and fun.

The bottom deck of the bus has been transformed into a luxurious snug, where trained beauticians will offer free manicures throughout the day and visitors can test out the comfort of a Best Western bed; ideal for shoppers or business people in need of a snooze!

If pampering isn’t your thing, on the top deck, visitors to the bus can practice their swing, as a crazy golf-style driving range has been set up, giving participants the chance of winning a golf weekend break for two at a Best Western hotel.

Along the way the bus will be making scheduled stops starting with Glasgow on 8th June and following with Edinburgh, York, Preston, Warrington, Sheffield, Peterborough, Norwich, Northampton, Birmingham, Cardiff, Brighton, Plymouth and finally finishing in Bournemouth on 21st June.

Mikhaila Brentnall, PR Manager, Best Western Hotels GB, said: “We’re really looking forward to showcasing our hotels and helping boost everyone’s holiday spirit. The Best Western bus is specifically designed to help people relax and revitalise and with a competition to win your dream break on board what a perfect way to kick start the summer.”

“With over 290 individually owned and managed hotels to choose from, means that wherever you go, you’re assured of a friendly, cosy place to stay with great facilities too.”

“If you’re an independent hotelier, we’d also love to speak to you about the benefits of membership and how many other many hotels in the area have increased bookings since joining the group.”

“The message is simple for those thinking about a break in Great Britain this year- it’s time to get ‘on board’ the Best Western bus and ‘try before you buy!”
