easyHotel Earl’s Court opens in London
With reports today naming London as one of the most expensive cities in the world, (second only to Moscow) super-budget hotel operator easyHotel.com has come to the rescue of cost conscious travellers by today announcing the opening of their third central London hotel at Earl’s Court, with prices from just £25 per room per night. The opening of the easyHotel London Earl’s Court follows last week’s widely reported master franchise agreement with i.gen hotels to open 10 new hotels across Germany over the next three years.
The easyHotel London Earl’s Court, which will offer affordable accommodation in the UK’s capital, will have 80 rooms and is conveniently located just 500 meters from Earl’s Court underground, close to Knightsbridge and Kensington. Both Earl’s Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres are just a short walk away.
Relying entirely on web bookings to generate sales, the new hotel opening is part of an ambitious expansion plan to open up to 60 new hotels in prime city locations across the UK, Europe and the Middle East in the next three years. Today’s announcement comes only weeks after the hotel operator revealed it is now accepting bookings for the easyHotel Budapest Oktogon, which will open its doors in October.
CEO of easyHotel, Lawrence Alexander explained, “This is the third easyHotel to open in London and combined with the announcement on our expansion into Germany is a testament to the success that easyHotel is experiencing both at home and across Europe. With London becoming increasingly expensive we are extremely confident that there is a real demand for another super-budget hotel in London!”
