'Business as usual' for Macdonald Hotels in Windsor

14th September 2007 Print
Savill Court Hotel and Spa It's ‘business as usual’ at the three Macdonald hotels in and around Windsor and the Royal Borough, despite the current foot and mouth outbreak. They are all offering great value weekend breaks with prices starting from £120 B&B for two sharing. The hotels include the Macdonald Berystede, near Ascot; Savill Court in Englefield Green and the Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel, near Camberley.

The three hotels have luxurious contemporary spas where facilities include large indoor pools, Technogyms, saunas, steam rooms and beauty suites offering top-to-toe pamper treatments for men and women using Decleor products from Paris. In addition, Carita beauty treatments are available at the Berystede where there is also a superb indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool overlooking the gardens, while Savill Court is surrounded by 22 acres of pleasant, wooded parkland which guests can explore at their leisure.

“We are welcoming guests as usual”, says Macdonald Hotels regional director, Jacqui Bagnall, “Visitors can simply spend the weekend relaxing at their hotel and enjoying the superb leisure facilities, while for families there are still lots of places to see including Legoland, which is close to all three hotels.” Windsor Castle and Eton College are also fully open without restrictions; alternatively visitors can take a riverboat cruise on the Thames; join an open-top bus sight-seeing tour or visit the newly refurbished Stanley Spencer Art Gallery, Cookham.
