All the fun of the fair at the Olive Branch Pub
Come along to the Christmas Fair at the Olive Branch Pub Barn in Clipsham, Rutland, on Saturday, December 1st and experience the delights of their pub foods that will be available to order for the festive season – and you’ll even have a chance to sample some of these delicious offerings, too.Owner/chef, Sean Hope, has put together a selection of product for you to sample from the kitchens of both The Red Lion Inn at Stathern, Leicestershire and the Michelin-starred Olive Branch pub, newly voted the ‘Michelin Pub of the Year 2008’. There will also be a selection of products from some of the pubs’ suppliers in the area on offer, too.
Try some of the local meats from Northfield Farm, sausages from Grasmere Farm, local cheese, (Red Leicester, Lincolnshire Poacher, Colston Bassett and Cropwell Bishop Stiltons), plus the pubs’ own Chutneys and Piccalillis, Christmas Puddings and Hampers (available to order), as well as Seans’s special and famous Rearsby Pumpkin Seed Bread. Locally raised geese from Mrs. Botterill may also be ordered for Christmas. Try a taste, too, of the Christmas wines, sherry and ports, plus local beers and liqueurs on offer.
The Olive Branch Christmas Fair will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 1st December, but be sure to get there early as this event is very popular. There is no admission fee to the fair.
