The May Fair Hotel is in the pink

27th September 2007 Print
London’s iconic May Fair hotel will be running two fabulously pink promotions this October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The hotel has announced it will donate 20% of all revenue from sales of its famous pink signature suite, the Schiaparelli, to the Breast Cancer Care charity during the month of October.

The ultimate in glamour, since its launch this suite has become a ‘must have’ room for style lovers and glitterati travelling to London. One of ten colour themed signature suites, the Schiaparelli (named after couturier, Elsa Schiaparelli, whose signature hot pink became her legacy) boasts a huge Bang & Olufsen TV, extravagant bathroom with stand-alone bath and individual TV, an ‘experience shower’ and a separate lounge area. What would you give to stay there?

Visitors to the award winning May Fair bar will also be able to support the charity whilst enjoying two refreshingly zingy non-alcoholic cocktails. 20% of the price of each Pink Ribbon (watermelon, pomegranate and cranberry juice served in a martini glass) and Raspberry Crush (raspberries, bananas and strawberries, muddled together with cranberry juice served in a high ball glass) sold in October will be donated to the charity. Both cost £5.50 and come served with a large measure of glamour in the ultra cool surroundings of the May Fair, this year voted ‘Best Hotel Bar’ by readers of the Evening Standard and the London Lite.

Schiaparelli promotion: Stays must occur during October 2007 and the reference code “PINK” must be quoted upon booking. Rates for the Schiaparelli Suite start at £2,500 throughout October 2007. For more information or reservations, visit Radissonedwardian.com/mayfair.
