Luxury hotel refurbishment nears completion The luxury 5-star hotel, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa, has announced that the final stage of the £3 million refurbishment of its meetings and events facilities commenced on 4th January 2008.

Coming just four months after the completion of the stylish Westminster Suite this £500,000 finishing touch will see the property’s Venetian and Eaton Rooms closing in early January for a six week period of complete refurbishment, reopening on 15th February with a stunning new look.

The dated chandeliers and traditional soft furnishings that were until recently the key focus of the décor will be replaced by bespoke contemporary boardroom furniture including a four sided triangular boardroom table, with a feature glass wall and the very latest technology incorporated throughout both rooms.

The high ceilings and much-loved huge sash windows will remain, but combined with the modern additional features, will provide a light and airy, up to the minute space for small meetings and gatherings.

The Chester Grosvenor and Spa’s meetings and events facilities now boast the very latest audio-visual equipment and Wi-Fi access for all delegates in addition to revolutionary soundproofing technologies.

Commenting on the new development, Managing Director Jonathan Slater said; “This state of the art addition to the extensive refurbishment of the hotel’s meeting and events facilities is set to produce an unsurpassed Executive Boardroom with the very latest technology incorporated throughout”.
