Aquae Sulis Spa is a cleverly zoned environment that is family friendly whilst offering parents the opportunity to escape. Families can enjoy time in the pool and outdoor areas together. Parents can choose to use the Ofsted registered childcare, take their pick from the extensive treatment menu of relax in the Thermal Retreat or Relaxation Room.
This opening will complete the £4.5 million investment in the hotel, which has received a complete refurbishment of the main house, a new spa restaurant - Pear Terrace Brasserie, a unique outdoor cookery demonstration area and an innovatively designed Ofsted crèche.
Guests will receive the ultimate in pampering with an Aquae Sulis treatment menu specially designed with the key needs of those with young children in mind. Treatments include ante and postnatal treatments using the ‘Mama Mio’ product range, and mother and father’s well being. Even a menu of special teen treats and a pampering mother’s and daughter’s Spa Day are available.
The interior of The Elms spa is a relaxing oasis with a rich and warm colour palette of natural oak and the contemporary twist for which Luxury Family Hotels are known.
Facilities in the spa will include four spacious treatment rooms, a 12 metre swimming pool, indoor/outdoor hydro spa, rasul, stream room, sauna, relaxation room and fitness suite. The spa will offer over 40 well-being therapies that can be tailored for specific needs providing the perfect opportunity for escapism, shared quality time with a loved one, or special group celebrations.
Day Spa programmes will also allow guests to experience a blend of luxurious treatments whilst enjoying full access to the spa, the leisure facilities and a delicious lunch in the Pear Terrace.

This break is available from £335 per person (sharing a double room) which includes 2 nights accommodation, ‘The Parents Revival Package’ spa treatments and access to all facilities available in the Aquae Sulis Spa, lunch in the new Pear Terrace and complimentary evening baby listening and daytime crèche if required. The Elms spa uses the Luxury Family Hotel’s own Aquae Sulis range based on natural and organic ingredients and a selection of therapies inspired by Roman body cleaning and spa rituals. Treatments include ante and postnatal treatments using the ‘Mama Mio’ product range, baby moons, mother and daughter rituals, male skincare and therapies. A comprehensive menu of prescriptive and skin enhancing therapies using internationally renowned Yon-Ka skincare is also available.
