Take a Vanity Fair luxury break at the Howard Why not relax at The Howard after a morning at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery where you can view 150 remarkable and memorable photographic portraits from that unique barometer of cultural zeitgeist - Vanity Fair Magazine.

Vintage works from Vanity Fair's early period (1913 - 1936) are displayed alongside photographs featured in the magazine since its re-launch (1983) to the present day. Those depicted include some of the most influential individuals of the modern age, with sitters ranging from Claude Monet, Amelia Earhart and Jesse Owens, to David Hockney, Arthur Miller and Madonna, and Hollywood luminaries from Charlie Chaplin and Greta Garbo to Jack Nicolson and Julia Roberts.

The exhibition takes place from 14th June to 21st September 2008.
