A new spirit for North West England

7th May 2008 Print
A new spirit for North West England The Vincent opens in Southport at the end of May, and is expected to redefine the concept of a cool English seaside hotel. With 60 beautifully decorated guest studios, residences and penthouse, the Vincent has a hip, design conscious ambience and blends ultra chic contemporary décor and a fastidious concern for the comfort and relaxation of guests. There’s also a sense of fun, a belief in chilling out in style.

A prospective 5 star hotel, the Vincent’s zinc and stone façade fronts a unique interior. The highlights include a bar named after the international fashion photographer Tony McGee and the cutting edge V-Deli/Cafe, which acts as a social hub for hotel and locals alike, the V-Spa and V-Gym and the V-Galleria Suites for weddings and corporate events.

The Vincent is the vision of restaurateur, Paul Adams who felt the North West coast lacked an upscale venue with lasting appeal. He selected Lord Street, Southport as the ideal location. With its very own Parisienne boulevard, lined with boutiques, high street shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, Southport is ‘the Brighton’ of the North – and a first class base for a business or pleasure trip.

July sees the Vincent hosting some of the most famous golfers in the world, as the British Open comes to nearby Royal Birkdale. Guests will be able to enjoy the hotel’s unique V-Residences, V-Studios and Corner Studios, each of which features a 2m x 2m Emperor sized bed as standard. Power sockets inside safes provide extra peace of mind whilst exciting and funky items such as oxygen shots, emergency underwear and a private bar add to guests’ enjoyment.

The Vincent operates an in-house executive car fleet service to transport guests to their chosen destination. Private air charters into nearby airports can also be arranged.
