The news that the owner of the most luxurious accommodation close to the world famous Glastonbury Festival will for the first time invite the public to stay will be music to the ears for many of us wishing to avoid the drudge of the mud and the hassle of registering for the festival.

Hospitality tickets gain access to backstage areas where you can find clean loos and hip bars. The festival is held on land owned by Pennard Hill Farm so you don't have to go too far to get back to the indoor swimming pool to relax after a hard day grooving to the music. In previous years, Pennard Hill Farm has been available only to artists and support staff visiting the festival. It is now open to people who want to enjoy the whole experience; the music without the pain!

With the festival organizers looking to reach to an ever wider range of people; not all want to rough it. Now you don't have to forgo a bath, a swim or decent nights sleep, Pennard Hill Farm provides the perfect answer.

In normal times Pennard Hill Farm is used for corporate development. Entrepreneur Phil Bailey runs a learning and development company called OnTrack International. "We use the whole estate to provide a relaxed and memorable learning experience" says Bailey. Companies such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Estee Lauder and Accenture have used it for corporate events. "It is our favourite UK venue for meetings" says Andy Fell Director of Branch Mortgages at Royal Bank of Scotland.

Pennard Hill Farm offers a choice of accommodation with self catering cottages for up to 8 people, Tipis, Yurts and Winnebago's (American style motor homes). Tailored packages can include dining, treatments nd helicopter travel to and from the farm.

These are some of the accommodation prices:

The Hay Barn is £1500 which sleeps 2/4 (2 on sofa bed), The Lamb Cottage is £1500 which sleeps 2/4 (2 on sofa bed), The Golden Fleece Cottage is £3000 which sleeps 8 people.

The Farmhouse is £1000 per double room and one room is available. Winnebago's are £3000 each which sleep four to six people, 20 ft Yurt or 25ft Tipi which sleep up to 12 people cost £2000 each - furnishings are extra or bring your own bedding.

Discounts will be available for more than four nights. All guests have access to the swimming pool and spa facilities.
