A celebration of seafood in North Yorkshire

The Great Seafood Festival will be held from 5th-21st September at the General Tarleton Inn, at Ferrensby, North Yorkshire (generaltarleton.co.uk). This is a gastronomic celebration of our wonderful - and very long - English coastline, including everything from locally smoked fish to lobsters, langoustines, clams, mussels, scallops, halibut, seabass and turbot - all just a taste of the delights to be had during this popular festival.

During this two week seafood spectacular, the General Tarleton Inn becomes a Seafood Restaurant, but there will still be some alternatives for confirmed meat-eaters!

The General Tarleton in Ferrensby is situated between Harrogate and Boroughbridge, only 3 miles off the A1, and almost exactly halfway between London and Edinburgh.
