The Ellington, Leeds to launch in September

The gadgets, meanwhile, are decidedly 21st century, making The Ellington one of the most technologically advanced hotels in the country; every bedroom has a plasma screen and satellite television, iPod docking station, three telephones and complimentary WiFi, as well as an entertainment centre for playing Xbox 360, Wii and PS3.
This little gem of a hotel will have just 35 rooms, including several one- and two-bedroom suites, allowing staff to provide a guest experience that reflects the true art of hotel keeping through hospitality with warmth and the very highest levels of personal service.
The Ellington’s 56-seater restaurant, The Restaurant at The Ellington, is a collaboration with world-renowned chef Albert Roux OBE, who will oversee the Classic Modern menu, ensuring that the finest seasonal produce is used and, where possible, sourced locally. The Bar at The Ellington will provide the perfect place for traditional afternoon tea, early evening drinks and post-dinner nightcaps.
The Ellington is one of only six properties in Britain to be a member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World and the first in England outside London. Published rates start from £190 for a classic double bedroom.
Pantin Hotels is the luxury group created by David Pantin, previously Managing Director of The Rocco Forte Collection and Chairman of Dawnay Shore Hotels Plc. The Ellington is the group’s first property. The company aims to open a number of hotels in the coming years, including The Crispin, an 84-room hotel and spa in a Grade II listed property, due to open in 2011.
