Luxury floats in British Columbia King Pacific Lodge is a luxurious floating eco wilderness retreat located in British Columbia’s pristine Great Bear Rainforest. Accessible only by seaplane, the lodge is moored in the sheltered waters of Barnard Harbour on Princess Royal Island and is Canada’s ultimate adventure break.

This pristine area offers abundant wildlife including humpback whales, eagles, wolves and the elusive Kermode - also known as the ‘spirit bear’, as well as a range of adventure activities such as kayaking, salt-water fishing and heli-fly-fishing.

For culture seekers, there’s the opportunity to immerse oneself in the ways and customs of the local Gitga’at community, whilst for those with an interest in food or cooking, guests can participate in the “Chef’s Catch” programme which involves harvesting delicacies from the sea and assisting in the preparation.

Prices start from £6,230 for seven-nights full board, including international flights, internal transfers by air, various excursions and two nights at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel. The lodge is only open for the summer season and closes on September 30.
