Radisson opens the doors to new hotel in Jordan The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies in the world, has announced the doors of its new property in Jordan - Radisson SAS Bay Resort, Aqaba - have now been opened.

This newly built attractive resort, owned by Shatea Al-Kamar for Tourism Investment Co. Limited, and located on the shores of the Aqaba Gulf in the southern part of Jordan, contains 336 comfortable rooms, consisting of standard, deluxe, superior, Tala Bay rooms as well as junior and executive suites. Rooms offering inter connecting doors, non-smoking and with especially designed details for disabled guests are also available.

All the rooms have their own balconies and are decorated with modern brown wooden furniture and with a general beige color scheme throughout the interiors. The overall layout of the resort is designed to make it resemble a modern village with its light yellow exteriors colors, plenty of green areas with lush palm trees as well as numerous arches and pathways.

The property features a great variety of attractive food and beverage outlets with something to please everyone’s taste buds. These include the all day dining Aziab restaurant with an international flavored cuisine and a live cooking station; Heatwave, an outdoor modern restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes, the indoor Kenzi lounge; the in-pool Dugout Bar and the open air Baywatch outlet providing self service snacks and a variety of cold drinks. There is also the Sunset Deck serving grilled food and offering guests traditional Shisha.

Besides from unwinding at the beach and swimming in the Red Sea, guests can also plunge into any of the hotels five heated pools. Kids will be more than happy too as they have their own pool, play ground area as well as the Nemo Kids club. For those wanting to keep fit and healthy while on holiday there is an outdoor fitness centre in addition to the many water sports facilities including jet skis, water skiing, windsurfing and parasailing, to mention just a few. Aqaba is also renowned for its superb diving and snorkeling possibilities; a great variety of corals and rich marine life is just waiting to be explored.
