Prestige Holidays adds new hotel destinations for winter

Luxury independent tour operator, Prestige Holidays, has revealed its winter 2008/9 brochure featuring new hotels in Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Malta and Morocco. Winter prices lead in at £338 per person for a week’s stay at the 5 star Corinthia Palace in Malta including flights, private taxi transfers and one free night.

New in Tenerife are two properties in the Western resort of Costa Adeje: the Grand Hotel Anthelia and Sheraton La Caleta Resort and Spa. The Grand Hotel Anthelia is set in 60,000 metres of gardens and located just in front of the Fanabe beach. The recently renovated property offers 391 rooms, five restaurants, six adult and two children’s pools, a children’s club and a beautiful spa. Packages for winter start from £749 per person for a week’s stay on BB, with return flights from Gatwick and private taxi transfers.

The Sheraton La Caleta Resort and Spa, already popular with Prestige guests, is a contemporary hotel with beautiful views and a host of facilities including: three pools, a large spa, five restaurants, three bars, a gym and children’s club, pool and playground. Winter packages start from £698 per person for a week’s stay on BB, with return flights from Gatwick and private taxi transfers.

Open only a year, the Dunas Amadores hotel is the latest addition to Prestige Holidays’ Gran Canaria programme. The hotel is located on a sandy beach and offers 133 rooms, two adult and two children’s pools, a children’s club and spa. We are sure this will prove as popular as sister hotel La Canaria, which is still closed for renovations.

In Malta the operator has expanded its programme with the addition of the Grand Hotel Excelsior in the island’s capital, Valleta. This property offers an unbeatable location for exploring the city and also allows for easy travel to all parts of the islands. The property offers three bars, two restaurants and a spa. Prices lead in at £432 per person for a week’s stay including flights and private taxi transfers.

Also new for winter is the newly opened Riad Opale in Marrakech featuring just seven rooms, a courtyard pool and intimate restaurant. A 3 night stay starts from £398 per person including scheduled flights with Royal Air Maroc from Gatwick, private taxi transfers and B&B accommodation.

The brochure also includes the Angsana Riads for the first time – a beautiful contemporary collection of four chic Riads in Marrakech. Each offers an extensive selection of facilities including a hammam and treatment room, roof top terraces and pools.

The Riads comprise Angsana Riad Lydines, a seven roomed property ideally located in the Medina. The Angsana Riad Bab Firdaus, a delightful seven roomed Riad just 10 minutes from the famous Djemma El-Fna, the traditional Angsana Riad Blanc and the Angsana Riad Si Said. The Riad Si Said is made up of two former Riads and features two stunning patios one which houses a pool and the other the perfect al fresco terrace for a romantic dinner for two.
