There’s a new spa in town

Since the Henderson Group* bought the property in December 2007 for over £2 million they have undertaken a £1.5 million refurbishment to the property. Its facilities now include a state of the art gymnasium, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, 12 treatments rooms, fine dining restaurant, private dining facilities, residents cinema, 30 luxury bedrooms to fit all budgets from standard through to suite as well as a separate self contained lodge property for larger parties.
Guests can arrive under their own steam or take flight and book a private helicopter transfer available from anywhere in the UK using the Henderson’s fleet of private helicopters. Touching down a short distance from the property this mode of transport sets the scene for the guests stay and means they can arrive at the property in record time whilst enjoying serene bird eye views of the British Isles.
The star treatment begins the moment guests draw up outside this baronial castle whether it be for a day spa treatment or fine dining. Guests overnighting at the hotel can enjoy full concierge service to make the most of their stay. The spa features over 21 Phytomer spa treatments from hot stones to Thai foot massage through to seaweed wrap with as many therapies available for men as for women. Each guest has a personal consultation on arrival to match the best treatments to their requirements to ensure they get the most of their time at the spa.
Previously only open the residents, due to popular demand the hotel’s restaurant will open to non residents for the first time on Friday 4 July. Jason Henderson an accomplished chef who has worked at several prominent UK and overseas culinary establishments in his 15 year career is head chef of the property. Jason’s menu choices use the best of local Perthshire produce and an extensive wine list has also been introduced to complement his dishes.
Activities in the local area include six championship golf courses, fishing (loch and river) walking, shooting and watersports.
