Birders breaks at Titchwell Manor

The birders breaks are available on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and include tours with an experienced local guide during Monday and Tuesday. Maps and information are provided to guests when booking so they can also explore the area in their own time.
Autumn is the time for waders at Titchwell Marsh when over 20 species might be seen including curlew sandpiper, little stint and black-tailed godwit, as they stop to feed on the lagoons during migration from their Arctic breeding grounds to Africa where they spend the winter. September is also one of the best months to view bearded tits, while in November thousands of Brent geese arrive escaping the Siberian winter – their massive flocks are a wonderful sight as they swirl like huge clouds across the coast and out to sea.
Renowned for its food excellence, Titchwell Manor is a smart retreat for those seeking fine dining in stylish surroundings. The former Victorian farmhouse now offers a delightful fusion of modern and traditional values with contemporary furnishings. There are 27 bedrooms, in either the main period hotel, a cottage or around a courtyard herb garden.
