Leaf peeping in Sussex

You needn’t go all the way to New England this autumn to see the leaf colours as you can visit Sussex in Old England instead to see the superb range of tree and shrubs in Capability Brown’s Sheffield Park.

The turning leaves are at their best on a sunny day in October when the blue waters of the lakes set of the magnificent autumn colours. And after wandering the grounds visitors can catch the Autumn Tint Special Train on the Bluebell Railway which departs from the park, with its observation cars providing an unrivalled view of the fantastic colours.
