Fujairah resort sponsors international parachuting event

Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort has thrown its weight behind the 12th ASIANIA and 1st Fujairah International Open Parachuting Championship by providing accommodation and catering services to VIP guests attending the event.

The event, which will take place from October 29th to November 7th at the Fujairah Marine Club, will bring together more than 300 of the world’s best parachutists from 35 countries. It is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, in collaboration with Fujairah International Airport and Emirates Aviation.

“The competition is an important event for the Fujairah community, as well as the sporting world, and fitted in with our strategy of promoting Fujairah as a destination for outdoor activities, as well as for business and leisure,” said Patrick Antaki, General Manager, Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort.

As part of its sponsorship, the resort is offering accommodation to VIP guests, providing on-site catering, and ensuring that guests at tomorrow’s opening ceremony remain refreshed, with a selection of hot and cold beverages.

The landmark event is organized by ASIANIA – the Asiania Parachute Federation.
