Rhodes hotel joins Leading Hotels of the World

5th November 2008 Print
The five star Lindian Village has become the first ever hotel on the Greek island of Rhodes to be approved membership to The Leading Hotels of the World organisation. The Lindian Village applied to become a member of the organisation and underwent a rigorous two-day inspection by a ‘mystery guest’.

The hotel was marked on 1,500 separate points including housekeeping, spa treatments and rooming experience. On completion of the application and inspection, only the most distinguished hotels are accepted as members. The Lindian Village will be periodically re-inspected to ensure standards are monitored.

This accolade furthers enhances the appeal of Rhodes as a luxury travel destination.

In response to the demand for luxury accommodation, the Lindian Village has invested time and an extensive amount of money in a new suite complex – Ottoman Gardens – which will open in August 2008.

The Ottoman Gardens is styled in a way that pays tribute to the multicultural Rhodian past, with minimal colours, oriental hints, imposing Turkish lanterns and exotic plants and trees. The interconnecting suites and junior suites of one to four bedrooms sleep up to eight guests. The rooms are a mix of pool suites, with private swimming pools and Jacuzzis; mini suites, with secluded balconies and outdoor Jacuzzis; and junior suites, with views of the oriental gardens. All suites include four-poster beds, separate living room areas and original works of art.

The new suites will provide guests with the utmost luxury as well as privacy on their holiday.
