Mallory crowned best hotel in UK and Ireland

The win was announced on Tuesday (November 11) at a glittering awards ceremony attended by leading lights in the hotel industry at the five star Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London.
Mallory Court owner Sir Peter Rigby, Managing Director Mark E Chambers and Resident Manager Sarah Baker were presented with this latest distinction, which adds to a stack of honours attained by the hotel team over the last year.
The three finalists in the Most Excellent Hotel category were picked from nearly 300 recommended hotels across the UK and Ireland through a selection process drawn from guest nomination forms, guest survey letters and regional inspections.
Other contenders for the crown were Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in Oxfordshire and Summer Lodge Country House and Spa in Dorset.
Managing Director Mark Chambers said: “We are extremely pleased and proud to be have won this national award, especially when pitted against two such outstanding competitors.
“We constantly strive to achieve and maintain excellent standards in all that we do and the recognition offered us by such a prestigious organisation as Condé Nast Johansens bears testament to these efforts.
“Mallory Court has always ranked highly in people’s regard but to achieve such unparalleled national acclaim is a fantastic endorsement of the quality of each individual team member’s contribution to our goals.”
