La Manga Club plays host to leading female golfing stars
La Manga Club, one of the world’s leading sports resorts, is set to play host to the world’s leading female golfing stars as it stages the Ladies European Tour Qualifying School this January – the event will be covered in the UK by Sky Sports.The high profile and highly competitive event, which takes place between 5 and 16 January 2009, will see 160 female golfers from across the world compete for the 30 full playing cards available for the 2009 Ladies European Tour.
Set to feature some of the world’s top female golfing professionals and stars of the amateur world, the hotly contested competition will be one of the sporting highlights of 2009 - and could potentially uncover some of the golfing greats of the future.
On 16th January amateur golfers (male and female) will have the chance to play alongside the professionals in a special Pro-Am competition. Entry is just £55 / 70 EURO with three amateurs playing alongside one professional. With space for 90 amateurs to take part – book your place now to avoid missing out.
