With everything from waterslides to storytellers, Hyatt Resorts are ideal for family holidays. Float down the world's longest freshwater river pool with your children, score points with a friendly family tennis match and marvel at the stars during nightly astronomy shows. Camp Hyatt Engages and Inspires Year Round

One of the first resort programmes created especially for kids, Camp Hyatt is available for children (aged 4-12) at Hyatt Resorts worldwide. The programme is focused on the culture, history and geography of each resort’s surroundings to provide fun, hands-on activities that educate and entertain. Parents can enrol their children in the supervised programme prior to arrival through the Hyatt E-concierge or during their stay. Camp Hyatt offers parents the flexibility of half-day, full-day and evening sessions. All activities are led by trained Camp Hyatt staff. Prices start at $30 per session and vary by property. Many Camp Hyatt programmes are open 365 days a year.

Dedicated Kids Concierge and Very Important Baby Programme

A Kids Concierge at each participating Hyatt Resort in North America and the Caribbean and the Very Important Baby programme at resorts outside of the U.S. are dedicated to enhancing the travel experience for parents with small children and babies. The Kids Concierge and V.I.B. programme provide last-minute advice and arrange for cots, pushchairs, high chairs, babysitters and other baby needs. They will also share information about family-friendly services and activities available at each resort and its surrounding destination. Other services include planning birthday parties; coordinating special guestroom amenities such as mini refrigerators, microwaves, baby shampoo, and kid-friendly TV; and recommending the best pushchair-friendly routes around the resort.

Even Holiday Planning Is Family Friendly

Planning and packing for family holidays is easier with the exclusive programme offered by Hyatt and Babies Travel Lite, an online retail resource offering more than 1,000 brand-name baby products. Products available through Babies Travel Lite include such essential items as nappies, baby food, infant formula and specialty travel items for delivery directly to Hyatt properties in the U.S. At a time when more airlines are charging for checked luggage and carry-on restrictions are tightening, Hyatt and Babies Travel Lite enable parents to avoid airline baggage fees and airport queue hassles freeing them up to care for their families.

Guests may prepare for their trip to a Hyatt destination by shopping for baby products via the Babies Travel Lite link at hyattfamilytravel.com. Parents customise their orders by selecting the brands they use at home in quantities that make sense for the length of their trip. Upon check-in to the hotel, the supplies ordered from Babies Travel Lite are waiting, allowing families to settle into their holiday with ease. In addition, Babies Travel Lite offers a “Ship It Home” service that allows families to ship unused baby products and anything else they do not want to re-pack allowing them to avoid the airline baggage fees when they return home.

A Second Room for the Kids

The Hyatt Family Plan is perfect for families travelling to a Hyatt hotel with children – parents can save up to 50% on a second guest room for the kids (aged 12 and under) at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide. Hyatt Resorts take every detail into consideration for families travelling together, from offering special kids’ menus to a Cranium Game Library, providing guests a complimentary assortment of fun games to enjoy during their stay.

Kids Menus

Children can enjoy the adventures of Johnny and Jenny Venture with a menu just for kids at every Hyatt Resort in the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean. While dining, children will receive an interactive placemat to enjoy during the meal and even the fussiest eaters will be content with Hyatt’s menus. Having undergone rigorous taste-testing from Hyatt’s youngest guests, menus now feature a good balance of healthy, organic options and old favourites, such as mini burgers with a choice of potato wedges or fresh vegetables.
