27th January 2009 Print
WorldHotels has announced the opening of a new affiliate hotel, the Buddha-Bar Hotel in Prague, on January 22nd 2009. The Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague is the first property of the luxury hotel brand to open. Opening Rates start at 275 Euro per night per room including breakfast and are available until March 2009.

The five-star WorldHotels property is located in the heart of the Czech Republic’s capital, close to the Old Town Square and only ten minutes from Charles Bridge. Its 36 luxurious rooms and three exquisite suites are decorated in a contemporary modern Asian design with French colonial influences and feature the legendary ambience of the famous Buddha Bars.

The Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague offers state-of-the-art wellness amenities including fitness facilities, a hammam steam room, a Jacuzzi, as well as signature spa treatments offered in the privacy of guest rooms. In-room facilities include an iPod cradle, LCD TV screen, high-speed wireless internet access and other amenities that suit both business and leisure travellers alike.

This WorldHotels Deluxe Collection property is remarkable not only for its unique design, but also for its culinary delights. The two-level underground Buddha-Bar restaurant, bar and lounge with its well-known giant sitting Buddha, and the Siddharta-Café features a masterful blend of Asian and Western cuisine in a Pacific Rim style.

The innovative Buddha-Bar interior design was created over ten years ago by Raymond Visan, who strives to create “living areas” by combining a restaurant and bar with a live DJ playing world and chill-out music. Visan is now looking to extend the vision’s interpretation through the hotel brand and is working with WorldHotels to contribute to its successful development.
