Warsaw hotel named one of Europe’s best

A Warsaw hotel has been named as one of the best in Europe by an American travel website. Le Méridien Bristol has been ranked the continent’s 11th best place to stay by the well-respected Travel & Leisure magazine.

The hotel describes itself as “mixing contemporary culture with its European heritage” creating “a culturally refined, meaningful and stimulating atmosphere” that has certainly impressed the judges at Travel & Leisure.

A new entry on the list for 2008, Le Méridien has also made the top 100 in the world securing a respectable 57th position.

Acting Director of the Polish National Tourist Office, Ewa Binkin, said: “This recognition is great news for the hotel and for Warsaw as a city. It shows that Poland is a top destination and a great place to visit if you want culture, refinement and excellence.”
