Emirates Palace hosts a gastronomical celebration

Michelin Stars recipients, Masterchefs, Celebrity Chefs, Wine Connoisseurs and aficionados of fine fare from around the globe will converge on Abu Dhabi’s jewel, Emirates Palace for the inaugural ‘Gourmet Abu Dhabi’ with many enticing events to be held between 5th and 14th February 2009.

Gourmet Abu Dhabi spans over ten days, showcasing an array of gastronomical events in Abu Dhabi. Emirates Palace has been bestowed with the honour of hosting the Gala Reception, on Thursday 5th February at the Palace Terrace along with many other prestige culinary events.

“Gourmet Abu Dhabi 2009 is a brilliant initiative to position Abu Dhabi as the top culinary destination for the fine-dining elite in the region. “Mezzaluna and Sayad play a central role in this dining extravaganza, hosting top Michelin Starred Masterchefs from around the globe,” continued Olbertz. Emirates Palace is thrilled to present a multitude of culinary events during Gourmet Abu Dhabi;

On the 12th February, Etoiles will host a special dinner with living culinary legend ‘Charlie Trotter’ his extraordinary dishes will be accompanied by Chateau Palmer’s selection of vintage wines, priced at AED 950 per person; take your taste-buds on a journey of true gastronomical discovery.

The exquisite Royal Dinner, located in Al Majlis, will be a truly mouth-watering dining experience, priced at AED 800 per person.

Guests will undertake an exciting expedition of taste with the Gourmet Safari at Emirates Palace on 13th February and delight in the gourmet offerings at Mezzaluna, Sayad and the Falcon Tent on the grounds of Emirates Palace. Priced at AED 600 per person.
