Yuan means “source of water” and therefore the spa is a haven of peace, calm and tranquillity on Shanghai’s famous Bund. Kriya Spa at The Grand Hyatt Bali
The Kriya Spa at the Grand Hyatt Bali was inspired by the magnificent architecture of an ancient Balinese water palace and is the contemporary luxurious reflection of ancient Balinese traditions of wellness. Kriya which means ritual in Sanskrit is the basis upon which all of the treatments at the spa are based.

The spa offers a range of signature spa rituals as well as a wide-selection of individual treatments. Named the Blue Marble Spa after the image taken of earth from the Apollo 17 space ship, the aim of this eco-spa is to work in harmony with nature and the environment. All treatments, including the Pure Organic Results Facial (1 hour, £91) which uses 100% organic products, are eco-conscious and promote the life-promoting qualities derived from nature. The spa uses natural, organic products, offers guests a selection of organic fruit and food options and uses minimal hot water.
