Perthshire hotel is number one for romance

The Lake of Menteith Hotel in Perthshire has scooped the highly coveted Scottish Romantic Hotel of the Year Award in the recent Hotel Review Scotland Awards 2009. The award is a resounding endorsement for the hotel’s warm New England waterfront style and its stunning lakeside setting, which just oozes romance.

Alongside the award for Scottish Romantic Hotel of the Year, the Lake of Menteith also scooped the awards for Rising Star Restaurant with Rooms of the Year 2009 and Informal Dining Excellence Award 2009. Head Chef Michael Hobbins and the team were also delighted to be runners up for the Hotel Chef of the Year Award 2009 and Small Country Hotel of the Year Award 2009.
