A feast of flavours at Le Méridien Al Aqah

Songkran, which means ‘move’ or ‘change place’ in Thai is also known as the ‘Water Festival’. It is the traditional celebration that welcomes in the Thai New Yea, and to mark the event Taste Chefs will offer a special Thai à la carte menu for dinner, which includes som tam (papaya salad), gai yang (grilled chicken), kao kiew (Thai sticky rice) and kao niew mamoung.
Swaad, which is open daily for dinner from 7:00pm to 22:30pm, and for lunch on Fridays from 12:30 to 3pm, will focus on the unique cuisine of the coastal regions, with a Seafood feast throughout April
The Easter brunch is priced at AED 215 per person, and includes the popular international cuisine at Views restaurant, as well as unlimited bubbly. The Friday brunch, which is served from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, is priced at AED 199 per person and includes pool and beach access.
Extend your Easter brunch with the day-out package. Priced at AED 250 per person, it includes unlimited access to the pool, beach and recreational activities, as well as complimentary access to the pool and beach for children. Meals for children aged five to 12 will be half-price.
For outdoor dining, Gonu restaurant is located on the shores of the Indian Ocean and offers a tempting selection of fresh juices, salads, grills and sandwiches. The Gonu chefs can also tailor a romantic, moonlight dinner for special occasions, priced from AED 799 to AED 1199, depending on your choice of beverages.
The theme nights at Views continue throughout April, with Italian on Saturdays, Asian on Sundays, French on Mondays, locavores on Tuesdays and Mexican on Wednesdays – all priced at AED 185 including beverages. On the weekends, the tempting offerings are Taste of Arabia on Fridays and Sea View on Fridays, both priced at AED 215 including beverages.
