Sanctuary Retreats introduces 1999 prices

Visitors to Europe, Africa and China can take advantage of a range of special deals running throughout June 2009, as part of luxury operator Sanctuary Retreats’ special 10th anniversary offers. Sanctuary Retreats opened its first property, Olonana, in Kenya in June 1999.

Throughout the month of June this year, consumers can take advantage of the below offers.

• Ten per cent discount off all bookings with Sanctuary Retreats’ luxury villas in France, Italy, Croatia and Spain (including Mallorca) during June 2009. All of Sanctuary Retreats’ villas are spacious, beautifully appointed and set in some of Europe’s most scenic locations. Most come equipped with a private swimming pool and expansive gardens. • Every night at Sanctuary Retreats’ Olonana in Kenya available at the original 1999 opening rack rate ($210; today’s price: $350-$700) when booking four nights or more during June 2009. Olonana is set on the banks of the Mara River and has 12 spacious permanent tents, a secluded swimming pool and verandas with views overlooking the resident hippos. • Cheapest cabin goes free on Sanctuary Retreats’ MS Yangzi Explorer in China when booking for a group of ten or more during June and August 2009. The MS Yangzi Explorer is the smallest cruise boat to sail the Three Gorges region of China and also features the most spacious and indulgent spa onboard any vessel on the River Yangzi. • Ten per cent discount on balloon safaris with champagne breakfast in the bush or a ten per cent discount on spa treatments at Sanctuary Retreats’ Olonana in Kenya for the month of June 2009.
